Gloucestershire qualify, Warwickshire still in the hunt

Warwickshire are still in the hunt for a quarter-final spot after fending off Northamptonshire at Edgbaston to win by a comfortable 20 runs. Tim Ambrose blasted 48 not out from 24 balls to lift Warwickshire to 187. Nick Knight also pitched in a handy 40 from 23 balls. In reply, Northants slipped from 44 for 0 to 86 for 6, a position from which they couldn't recover.

Alex Gidman's 35-ball 52 helped Gloucestershire chase down Glamorgan's 190 at Cardiff and secure their quarter-final place. Craig Spearman struck fifty to get their innings off to a flyer and help his side win by five wickets with three balls to spare. Will Rudge snared three wickets in Glamorgan's innings to put the skids under their charge.

North

Yorkshire's game with Derbyshire was washed out but not before three Yorkshire players had made fifty to boost them to a cracking 210. Craig White, Gerard Brophy and Anthony McGrath all reached their half-century at the County Ground. Brophy was particularly brutal - he smashed 13 fours in his first 16 deliveries. Derbyshire's reply had got off to a brisk start, James Pipe pummelling 29 in nine balls before rain put paid to proceedings after just 2.1 overs.
