Bristol
Bristol
Gloucestershire County Cricket Club currently play at three different venues, Bristol, Cheltenham and Gloucester. The majority of matches are played at the Club's headquarters in Bristol, but for a week in June the Club play a festival in Gloucester and for 2 weeks in July and August the Club play the most successful festival in the world in Cheltenham. Listed below are all three venues.

Bristol
The County Ground, the headquarters of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club is located in Bristol to the north of the City Centre. Conveniently situated a short distance from the M32 with easy access to the M4 and M5 it is now regarded highly as a venue for high class International Cricket. The capacity for the England v Australia match in 2001 was a record 15,000, almost double the previous highest for Gloucestershire. The Bristol ground is a real fortress for Gloucestershire with the second largest playing area in England. The excellent fielding that is a trademark of Gloucestershire more often than not contributes to the defeat of visiting sides. [Ground Profile | Detailed directions, maps and ground plan]

Cheltenham College
The C&G Cheltenham Cricket Festival is well over 100 years old and is played at the College Ground in Cheltenham. Situated in the heart of the Cotswold town, with probably the most picturesque and recognisable backdrop to a ground, the College has seen some of the most exciting cricket played in Gloucestershire. With two impressive wins against Northants and Nottinghamshire in the National League and two equally as dominant performances in the Championship, it became another unforgettable festival. Once again, Cheltenham played host to a new record in the National League when the County reached 344 for 6 in defeating Nottinghamshire. [Ground Profile]

Gloucester Festival

The Gloucester Festival is played in the heart of Gloucester City Centre, at the King's School playing field, Archdeacon Meadow. The matches at King's School often produce high scoring and fascinating games. Entertaining Essex with Graham Gooch back in charge means Gloucester will once again be the scene of thrilling entertainment. [Ground Profile]
