Profile
Greg Smith is a South African born allrounder in England on a Kolpak deal.He represented South Africa Under-19 in the 2001-02 World Cup final and impressed in his few first team appearances in 2006. He has also attended the South African academy.
In 2007 he became an established member of the side whether he was bowling seam or off-spin. He struck a violent 79 in the Twenty20 cup against Leicestershire and put in a man-of-the-match performance in the Friends Provident Trophy win over Scotland. He is a lively fielder and will usually be spotted diving around at backward point.
