Ahead of the start of the new international cricket season, which gets underway later this month, Cricket Ireland has revealed its new ticketing pricing structure for 2008.
A major revamp has taken place over the close season, and a number of major pricing changes have taken place. There will be a buy-one-get-one-free offer in place for the Friends Provident Trophy, and accompanied juniors will get free entry to all Ireland's home fixtures in 2008. There will also be a major discount for Senior Citizens at all games.
Prices for the Friends Provident Trophy games are £10/ €13.50 for adults. Juniors will get free entry, (if accompanied by an adult), otherwise the charge will be £3/€4. Senior Citizens will be charged €8 or £6 . In addition, all tickets will be sold on a buy-one-get-one-free basis. With four games in the FP Trophy, this will allow anybody buying a ticket to combine the two Dublin matches or the two Belfast matches under this offer.
Cricket Ireland have also secured a deal with Ticketmaster, which will see tickets being available from their agents nationwide, and by phone on 0818-719300.
Ireland will also be hosting the European Championships in Dublin this summer (July 25-31), and the ICC Twenty20 World Cup Qualifiers in Belfast (August 2-4). In addition there will be three ODIs against Kenya in August.
