BCCI Removes Commercial Sponsor Logo From Indian Team Shirts

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has advised the ICC that the Indian cricket team will play today's match against Zimbabwe at Premadasa Stadium, in shirts bearing no commercial sponsor logo.

The ICC had previously approved the use of the name Subrata as the team sponsor for the ICC Champions Trophy tournament.

Subrata was nominated by the BCCI to replace Sahara as the team sponsor because of a clash with South African Airways, one of the official sponsors of the tournament in Sri Lanka.
