About the 12 Stars Cricket Club
The 12 Stars cricket club has existed since 1989 and aims to cater for the needs of the international cricket-playing community in the Brussels and Tervuren area of Belgium. Over the years we have established a reputation as a friendly, informal and welcoming club for cricketers from all cricket- playing nations, including, of course, Belgium. The club tries to cater for all levels of ability and time-commitment, and organises a varied fixture list. There are competitive weekend league matches and friendly mid-week evening 20-over games (Wednesday or Thursday) between the end of April and the middle of September (about 30 matches in all). For our home matches, and after indoor-net practices, we have use of the excellent facilities of the British School Social Centre.

Insurance Advice: Disclaimer
All playing members are advised that cricket can be dangerous. The Club advises all playing members that they play at their own risk. All members are advised to play with their own medical insurance at all times.

Cricket for Kids
Involvement in the BSB Junior Cricket program (U11, U13, U15, U18) remains an important part of the club's brief and reason for its existence at the school. The program is run by the BSB and aims to give youngsters the opportunity to be introduced to the game and to experience competitive matches. The Junior program is provided with the approval of the Belgian Cricket Federation (BCF).

Ex Members
Are you an 'old boy' of the 12 Stars? If you are please let us know where you are. We'll be more than happy to hear from you by email. Some of your old friends are still playing and, for those who had the pleasure then, we are sure that you will appreciate the Stumps Up which has been resuscitated, and is again a central pillar of the club's social life. Ed would appreciate your comments as ever he did.
