Hampshire Cricket has introduced a range of fun-filled activities for spectators to enjoy at the first Twenty20 Cup match on Friday 13th June.
With an emphasis on fast, fun and family entertainment, cricket will be complemented by live performances from Mis-Teeq, D'Side and United Colours of Sound.
Families can enjoy the ECB Roadshow, including a speed bowling competition, a children's fun-fair, giant inflatables and face painting plus a karaoke corner.
Adults can take a break at specialist bar zones from the Barcardi Breezer Bar to The Guinness Tent with a Bar-b-que zone in addition to a whole range of other food and drink outlets.
The Rose Bowl will be open from 2.30pm to 10.30pm with The Twenty20 Cup match taking place between 5.30pm and 8.15pm. There will be no admittance to the ground after 7pm.
Nick Pike, Hampshire Cricket's managing director said today "The Twenty20 Cup provides us with a chance to bring a whole new audience to cricket at The Rose Bowl, and we want to make the first match an evening to remember. This isn't just cricket, it's also about creating a major summer social attraction and a great night out".
John Crawley, Hampshire Captain said "it will be fantastic to have lots of families and groups of young people around to cheer us on! We want to win the opening match, and all the players are really looking forward to the competition. There's definitely a buzz around the place ahead of the game".
