Sandeep Gupta was a right-hand batsman and a wicketkeeper who was included in Kenya's 1999 World Cup squad. He made his debut for Kenya in 1990, playing for them ten times but, remarkably, failing to take a catch or make a stumping. His highest score was 41 against Sri Lanka in 1996. He represented his country in the 1990, 1994 and 1997 ICC Trophy and has toured Holland, Malaysia and South Africa.
