Heavy fog curtailed the President's Cup one-day final between National Bank of Pakistan and Khan Research Laboratories into a 20-over affair, but only 11.4 were possible in the first innings before bad light forced the match to be called off and the trophy to be shared.
Play began four hours late when KRL elected to field. The decision looked promising as seamer Umaid Asif took two wickets in three overs. Five of National Bank's top six registered single-figures but Nasir Jamshed was fluent though as he struck a 34-ball 32 to take the side to 59 for 5 before the game was abandoned after just over an hour of play.
